Environmental Training
Environmental training is an essential element to ensure that an organisation meets its environmental performance objectives. A structured approach to environmental training is promoted by any of the major standards for environmental management systems: ISO 14001, EMAS and BS8555.
Not all members in an organisation require the same kind and level of environmental training. Generally three categories of environmental training needs can be identified:
- EMS management competence
- General environmental awareness training
- Function specific environmental training
This website provides some useful information about environmental management in general and environmental training in particular.
