What is this course about
This course gives an overview of the issues associated with waste arisings in the construction industry. It provides an overview of the main points in the current waste legislation and what companies are expected to do in order to manage waste legally. In addition it describes the principles for waste minimisation and how to start a waste minimisation programme.

The course is aimed at staff from organisations in the construction industry. The course would be of specific interest to those involved in carrying out the planning and supervision of site works, such as HSQE managers, project managers and site supervisors.
